How can I apply for the 2026-27 NM Pre-K Program?
Apply at www.sodacharter.net . The window is February 18–March 27, 2026. All timely applications are entered into a pool. A manual process will randomly draw names from the pool to fill available seats.
The maximum enrollment of students will be 16 three-year-olds and 16 four-year-olds. The lottery will take place on March 27th if the enrollments exceeds 32.
Students not selected initially are placed on a waitlist and offered spots if they become available.

Does applying guarantee enrollment?
No. There are 32 spots (16 for 3-year-olds, 16 for 4-year-olds), filled by lottery. There are 2 Mixed NM Pre-K Classrooms at School of Dreams Academy. If the spots are not filled on March 27th , applications which have been placed on the waitlist will be added to enrollment based on the order they were received until the vacancies are filled.
How are students selected?
Initially, selection is by lottery among eligible applicants. If enrollment is not filled, applications will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
How will I be notified?
You will receive an email and/or phone call if your child is chosen.
Do I need to submit shot records with the application?
No. If selected, you’ll provide documents when registering in late April or early May.
What are the 2026-27 school hours?
Full day: 7:45 am – 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday.
Is busing available?
No busing unless the student has an IEP; families provide transportation.
Is there before or after school care?
No extended care for NM Pre-K students attending School of Dreams Academy.
