School of Dreams Academy will host our Annual Veterans Day Celebration. It will be held on Friday, November 11th, 2022 and will begin at 9am. Please join us in showing our gratitude to Veterans in our community. All Veterans are welcome! Presented by SODA FFA.
Then join us Friday night for our Annual SODA Bonfire presented by Yearbook. Starting at 6pm there will be food and games as well as a gift basket raffle for PTC.
Don’t forget the Haunted House and Trunk or Treat is tonight at School of Dreams Academy! $5 tickets for the haunted house! Starting at 5pm Please come and support SODA’s student council!
Photo retakes are coming up on 11/08/22 from 8-9 am.
Retake forms were distributed to students last week.
***RETAKES: If you would like your student to have a retake you must fill out the form and send it with your child on picture day.

SODA Secondary presents our ELTP Day for the month of October on Friday October 28th 2022. All Secondary students will head to their advisory class in the morning after announcements.

Parents of seniors: Tomorrow Financial Aid staff from UNM will be available to help seniors and their parent/guardian to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Your student does not have to plan on attending UNM to take advantage of this free, personalized assistance. Please create an FSA ID before coming to the workshop. Hello everyone! Juniors and seniors are hosting a craft fair on December 3rd and they're looking for vendors. Table fee supports the junior and senior classes. All vendors keep 100% of their sales.

Parents of SODA Seniors: Is your senior college or trade-school bound? On Friday October 21st during parent teacher conferences, there will be a FAFSA workshop to assist families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The workshop will be in portable 7-B and you will need to create a FAFSA ID using this link: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch in advance. The FAFSA is required for some scholarships and determines student eligibility for grants, work study, and student loans. Please plan on bringing copies of tax return information if you have it.

Attention Parents:
Picture Day is coming to School of Dreams on 10/06/22. All students will be photographed and you will receive a proof to see your student's photo before you buy. They will be photographed on a green screen so please avoid green and you will be able to pick your background for individuals when you place your order. All you need to do is send your student dressed and ready for picture day.
Picture Day is coming on Thursday October 6, 2022. Please bring your smile and be ready to say 'cheese'!
School of Dreams Academy Governing Council will have a meeting Monday September 19, 2022 at 6:00 PM in building 18 and remotely via Zoom if needed.
Workshop is for School of Dreams Academy new Governing Board members and no action items will be approved.
