Ever wonder what would happen when you change something and what might occur because of it? Or, if you built this really cool idea that you have how it would work and solve a real-world problem we face daily? Here's your chance to come up with a question and use the scientific method or engineering design processes to research it! School of Dreams Academy will be hosting its 4th annual STEM Research Challenge December 5-8, 2022. Students in pre-k through 12th grade will conduct STEM research projects and showcase their findings. Please make sure your student connects to the SODA STEM Research Challenge Google Classroom for their grade level through their teacher. Any questions, reach out to your student's elementary classroom teacher, or secondary science or STEM research class teachers. We are excited to see your innovative and inspiring science, technology, engineering, and mathematical ideas!

The Department of Health Nurse will be at SODA on Thursday 8/18/2022 to administer vaccines for students 11 years and older. They will offer COVID, Tdap, MCV4, and HPV vaccines. You must register online for COVID vaccines,

The School of Dreams Academy Governing Council invites interested individuals to apply for vacancies in our Governing Council. The SODA Governing Council plans to appoint new members at the September 6, 2022, regular meeting. Our Governing Council meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Occasionally, special meetings are required in order to conduct school business in a timely manner. Parking Permit Procedure
In order to drive onto the SODA campus, students will need to obtain a parking permit application from the secretary in Building 18. Return the application with parent and student signatures along with the student’s driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and current insurance for each vehicle being driven onto campus.
If students will be transporting younger siblings, their information will need to be on the form as well. If students will be transporting other students, i.e. friends or relatives, we will need written permission from both the driver’s and passenger’s parent/guardian.
You will receive a parking permit that must be displayed in your vehicle at all times when driving onto campus.
Cell Phones / Personal Electronic Devices Policy
Students are not permitted to use or openly carry personal electronic devices on the School of Dreams Academy campus. This includes, but is not limited to: cell phones, smart watches, personal computers, earphones/buds, MP3 Players, iPods, iPads, etc. If it is necessary to carry one of these devices onto campus it must be stored inside a students backpack/bag and turned off. Calculators and medically necessary equipment are permitted. Medical equipment must be cleared through the school nurse
